Monthly Sewing Review – 2025 July Wrap Up

Like June, July has been a rapid and busy month. I feel like I’ve barely been home, and had no time or inclination towards sewing even when I was. It’s been overall a good month for me on a personal level – I’ve been able to see a lot of friends and do a lot of things, but not much in the way of sewing or crafting.

Sewing Progress

None to report. I’m hoping to get back to it soon!

Sewing Delays

Basically this whole month was a “sewing delay”. I went on several trips (which, to be clear, I am not in any way complaining about!), which sucked up all my free time and energy this month. I will say I’ve been in recovery mode the past few days, but I’m starting to get the sewing itch so I’ll hopefully be back in the sewing room soon!

Finished Projects

Nothing to report here either. I have been doing some reading though – I’m hoping to get book reviews posted next month!

WIPs & Upcoming Plans

Since I really haven’t done much sewing since May, I’m still working on my LilyPAD patterns and have several B,Wear patterns on the list after that. I will say I’ve been feeling the urge to sew something other than undergarments though, so we’ll see where I’m at after next month. Since a lot of people tend to celebrate “BRAugust” and I already had several bra projects on the short list, I probably won’t move on to other things until September. But I’ve been reading a lot of books and enjoying my recent travels that have been giving me some ideas and inspiration, and I’ve been trying to think a but about what I need and what I would like to sew during the rest of the year.
