So, turns out I’m going to be making two sets of dirndls for German Octoberfest! One for the person I know, and one for her friend. I’ve actually started construction (or, more precisely, I’m nearing the end of it), but for now I’ll just tantalize you with some material pictures. (Also, as a side note – I did NOT pick the fabrics for this project. Luckily, the people I’m sewing for have good taste in colors, and enough knowledge of fashion to have picked out some lovely medium-weight cottons that are going to look fantastic together. I’m super excited to see how these come together!)
