I truly can’t believe February is over. I feel like this month has flown by, and like I’ve been busy for all of it. I clearly haven’t been posting much to the blog, because I’ve been focused on a lot of non-sewing related things this month. I sort of suspected it would be this way heading into it, but planned events were even more time consuming than I expected.
Sewing Progress
Yeah… that didn’t happen. But I did sign up for a class for next month, and I have a few patterns picked out, so I am hopeful for more sewing to write about soon. I also did quite a bit with the Cricut this month, but a lot of it was just labels and organization, so there isn’t much exciting to show off.
Sewing Delays
I had an event every weekend this month, so I feel like any and all of my down time was spent sleeping. Which was probably needed, but not very exciting to blog. It’s been an eventful month, with some exciting things, some sad things, and some unexpected things, and I don’t feel like I’ve been wasting time, it’s just all been allocated to other more pressing matters.
Finished Projects
Nothing to report, other than finally getting some labels made on the Cricut.
WIPs & Upcoming Plans
Since I’m taking a bra making class next month, I’m trying to decide which patterns I will focus on for that. Right now I feel like the MakeBra DL02 is the top contender, but re-fitting the Cashmerette Willowdale and the B,Wear patterns are also high on my list. We’ll see how much time I can dedicate to the class next month or what else life decides to throw my way. I already have a few weekend events I plan to attend, but at least for right now I’m not planning to be gone every weekend, which is a help. I really feel the itch to get back to sewing, so wish me luck!
