Wow… how cool to read all that… When I was small, my aunt and mother used to buy Burda, and then it was my sister who ended up doing most of the sewing for a while, so there were lots of Burda magazines lying around the house! Am I wrong to say that these days Burda doesn’t seem to get a lot of love or attention? If so, I find it a shame, because even though some issues are a little “thin” with inspiration, overall the magazine does a very fine job in presenting interesting patterns, and encourages experimentation.
Now if only they could improve those directions, just a teensy bit… ♥ ♥

Fantastic, I’ll definitely be going back for another detailed read. As I was scrolling through the photos I was thinking Burda should release more of their vintage patterns, but immediately changed my mind when I hit the 80’s!!
